Explanation

The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions in co-operation with Statistics Sweden annually collects data about county council employees. The data are based mainly on the county councils' staff registers.
The number of employees on an annual basis within a category is obtained by adding the employees' level of employment (hours) and dividing them by the set normal number of working hours per year.
