The Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis annually investigates how the population’s access to services changes, and the consequences of the changes. The table shows access to everyday commodities based on population figures for the preceding year, by proportion of people per interval. For technical reasons, the approximately 30,000 archipelago residents are excluded from the analysis. The analysis takes in the shortest distance by car from a populated 250-metre square to the nearest commodities sales point.
